Winter Sets In

It’s a dry winter again in Texas. That doesn’t mean we won’t have torrential rain in the spring. We could even have enough snow anytime, to provide relief from a drought situation. If you are from Texas, then you are used to this. Minimal releases allowed, are now running from Lake Ray Roberts Dam down to Lewisville Lake.

There are probably some crappie working their way in for the spawn, and I did catch plenty of sand bass (way too small) at the Ray Roberts Dam last week.

I can only hope things get going so I can start shuttling those interested in using the Greenbelt. The bicycle shuttle thing could be on the drawing boards now.

Stay tuned because good ideas like this service – die hard.
